Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are not required on the week days, but are strongly recommended. We require appointments on weekends to ensure that each bride receives the service and attention she deserves. If you stop in without an appointment and there are consultants available, we would love to help! However, if all consultants are assisting pre-book appointments, you may be asked to schedule an appointment or return when a bridal consultant is available.

 

How long is my appointment?

Bridal appointments are scheduled for 90 minutes. Sale appointments are scheduled for 60 minutes. For bridesmaid appointments, we reserve 60 minutes. When we are measuring a large group for tuxedos, we recommend an appointment. Depending upon how many will attend, we will reserve 30-60 minutes. Officiating consultations are scheduled for 30 minutes. Alterations appointments will vary based on the seamstress’ recommendations.
 

What sizes do you carry?

Unlike many bridal boutiques, Avenue Bridal takes pride in a wide variety of sizes offered to brides. From size 8-30W, we have you covered! Our professional stylists specialize in helping every bride find a dress that fits their personality and emphasizes their best attributes.

 

How far in advance should I order my dress?

We recommend ordering your bridal gown 9-12 months ahead of time. This allows for ample production, shipping and alterations time without any rush. For bridesmaids, we recommend ordering 6 months ahead of time. We recommend selecting your tux or suit styles 6 months ahead of time and having all measurements submitted 6-8 weeks ahead of the event. **These are ideal time frames, please know that we are very flexible and more than happy to help you plan your wedding or event on any schedule. We have helped brides and grooms get prepped in less than a week! It can be done!
 
How many dresses do you have in stock at a time?

Our inventory is constantly evolving, so we don't have an exact number of dresses in the store, but generally speaking, we have about 200-300 wedding gowns in the store at any given time. Each dress is handpicked to ensure the best quality and styles. Avenue Bridal's buyers literally wade through thousands of dresses and only bring home the top designs.
 

Do you price match?

We have lowered all of our prices to the MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price)

What Should I Wear?

You will have a bridal consultant assisting you. We want you to wear what you are comfortable in such as a strapless bra, stickies, or a body shaper (if you prefer). Underwear are required for health reasons. If you have an idea of the shoe style or heel height you might wear for you big day, bring something similar along. It will allow your consultant to give you recommendations on your hem needs.

Who Should I Bring?

We recommend bringing family or friends whose opinions you value and trust. Limiting the number of guests to 3 or less will also allow you to focus more on yourself and less on entertaining the crowd. If possible, we recommend not bringing children to the appointment. It’s hard for little ones to sit still for a long time.

Finishing Touches?

We are happy to offer services to ensure your gown is picture perfect for your big day. If you have purchased your gown through Avenue Bridal, professional steaming and pressing service is included with your purchase. If you purchased your gown elsewhere, we are happy to offer steaming services for a small fee.
